About
Hi,
I am Paolo Tortone, an Italian Art Director and Communication Designer.
I was born and raised in the countryside, where I learned the essential values of communication, where a single white sheet of handwriting was enough to say anything.
I then moved to Turin at the age of 19. A somewhat grey city, with two faces: one extremely elegant and luxurious; one extremely industrial. In 2019, there, I founded Blue., a communication design studio that set itself the goal of merging these two worlds in a city so rich in prejudice. I was co-founder and Art director of Blue. until 2022.
In the meantime, I moved to Berlin in 2020, a city that has always excited and inspired me thanks also to my great passion for music.
Having been lucky enough to live in such different places has meant that my ideas were influenced and shaped over time, always starting from a blank canvas and with the awareness that a small sign is enough to influence the vision of the end user.
Since 2018 I have been having fun with Alessandro Pippia to carry on the @2pGraphic project. A collective where we have the opportunity to vent our creativity through communication projects linked only and exclusively to the world of electronic music, which has always been the inspiration for my works.
